There are a few holiday articles to help keep things fun this weekend as well as event details for the 4th on the Macaroni Kid Dover calendar. Our Patriotic Pinterest board is a great resource for holiday inspiration as well.
Another thing worth celebrating is the fresh local food of the summer. Strawberry and blueberry picking is one of our favorites and luckily there are local places to pick! If you would rather have someone do the picking, there are farmers' markets galore throughout Delaware. We enjoyed the Capital City Farmers Market last week, right here in Downtown Dover. I definitely recommend bringing the kids out to enjoy this fabulous market while supporting our local farmers.
There's a Facebook event entitled "Summer Fun List" that will be updated regularly with fun summer happenings and activities. Head over to the event page and indicate that you are "Going" in order to receive daily updates (and don't worry, I won't take over your notifications list!).
